Cloud 9 was founded in January 2013 by Alex Beattie and Keith Witchell, Chartered Accountants looking to reshape the industry by bridging the gaps between client, bookkeeper and accountant, allowing each to concentrate on what they do best.
In November 2017 Martina Sujova joined the team as one of bookkeeping franchisee. She instantly picked up all instructions given and put them in action. Under the Cloud 9 training and great brand name she managed to build good client’s base in a short time. She also teamed up with another chartered accountancy team local to her, and formed Cloud 9 Accounting Team, to run alongside her franchise. Martina introduced exciting new ideas to Cloud 9 that were missing there. Eventually they all agreed for Martina to take over the directorship of Cloud 9. Cloud 9 is now closely cooperating with Cloud 9 Accounting Team, which brings an additional assurance of high quality service.

Our eight years in the industry includes extensive training days with local bookkeepers and business owners, while our wealth of accountancy, tax and business knowledge means we know what business owners are looking for.

With packages starting from £ 8500, Cloud 9 make it affordable for you to become your own boss, but still have the comfort of knowing you have the support of our back room staff who will always be on hand.

Cloud 9 will equip you with all the tools needed to get you to the level you want to be at. This will be in the form of 1-2-1 training on cloud-based software, such as Xero, as well as all the stationery and marketing support you could need to make your business complete. Cloud 9 work closely with Xero to ensure you will always have the most up to date software so that you can offer the best service possible to your clients.

Where Cloud 9 differentiate themselves from other franchises, is the level of ongoing support we are committed to giving you, so you never feel alone in those daunting early days of running your own business. Our franchise programme also stands apart by providing genuine, hands-on work experience from the moment you join us. From the day you sign your agreement, you will begin gaining practical experience through real work and business tasks and real client scenarios, helping you build confidence and professional capability from the very beginning.
At Cloud 9, we believe that bookkeepers need to be flexible, and have the ability to use a range of bookkeeping software so that you can offer your clients the best solution to satisfy their accounting needs. This is why all our bookkeepers are trained on a range of products, from cloud-based software such as Xero and Kashflow, to more traditional desktop packages like Sage and Quickbooks.
You will be trained by fully qualified accountants, bookkeepers, marketing specialist and by the end of the initial training, you will be able to navigate your way around numerous pieces of software, and provide the following services:
•   Processing of the day-to-day sales and purchase invoices
•   Prepare bank reconciliations
•   Prepare VAT Returns
•   Prepare payroll in accordance with the new RTI regulations
•   Interpret financial statements to add value to your work

•   Start to run your business with tools and support given (start up stationery included)
•  Perform work on real clients books within first 2 weeks
•   Get potential recurring earnings £2000/m - with potential to grow in yur first year
•   Establish your flexible working time

You will be also able to:

We insist that all our bookkeepers reach a certain level, so you will be required to sit a certification course at the end of the initial training, and then annually thereafter to ensure standards are being maintained.

We will provide you with start up stationery, any accounting software you need to provide your services to your clients, and an ongoing support and development regime along the way.
